What is the GO effect?
The GO effect is built on the idea that even a small change in one person, can have an immense impact on other people and the future. This idea originated with mathematician Edward Lorenz’s concept the Butterfly Effect. The Butterfly Effect is the phenomenon whereby a minute localized change in a complex system can have large effects elsewhere. The classic story is a butterfly flapping it’s wings in Japan leads to a tornado in Texas.
The chaos and complexity of the world can often leave an individual feeling helpless and insignificant. People often believe they are powerless and at the will of those who are rich and powerful. We believe it is each person’s responsibility to make the world a better place. GO is on a mission to inspire you to believe you are a leader who can change the world.
